Brandy

Brandy is like magic grown-up juice made from squished fruit. First, grapes are squished and left to ferment (like making apple cider). Then, instead of turning the grape juice into wine by bottling it, we put it into big pots called stills. The stills have a special heat box attached to them that heats up the grape juice until it turns into steam.

The steam goes into a long tube where it gets cooled back down into a liquid, but now it's not juice anymore. It's brandy! The brandy is then put into barrels and left to age for a really long time so it can get extra yummy.

When people drink brandy, they usually drink it after dinner or before bed because it's kind of like a special treat. Plus, it helps you relax and makes you feel all warm and cozy inside. But, it's only for grown-ups because it has alcohol in it, and alcohol is not good for kids.
