Breton literature

Breton literature is writing by people who speak or lived in Brittany, a region in northwestern France. This type of literature is often inspired by the history, language, folklore and culture of the region. It often includes stories, poems and songs written in the Breton language and includes traditional and modern works. Breton writers have been documenting the region’s culture for centuries, and today, Breton literature continues to influence people around the world.
