Broadcasting of sports events

Ok kiddo, do you know how you have a toy that you like to play with and sometimes you show it to your friends so they can play with it too? Broadcasting is kind of like that.

When there is a big sports game like basketball or soccer, a lot of people want to watch it. But not everyone can go to the game in person because it might be too far away, or there might not be enough tickets for everyone. So, to let more people see the game, a special group of people called broadcasters use cameras to film the game as it happens, and they show it on TV or on the internet so everyone can watch it together.

Broadcasting is like having a really big toy that lots of people can play with at the same time and it can help fans who aren't there in person feel like they're part of the game too!
