Burial

Burial is when someone who has died is put in the ground in a special place called a cemetery.

When a person dies their body stops working and they can't do anything anymore. People are very sad and miss the person who died but sometimes they want to remember them in a special way.

This is where burial comes in. When people die, they are put in a special box called a coffin. The coffin is usually made from wood and decorated nicely. It helps keep the person who died safe and protected, like a cozy bed.

After the person is placed in the coffin, it is taken to the cemetery by special people called funeral directors. At the cemetery, the coffin is buried in a special place called a grave.

A grave is a hole in the ground where the coffin is placed. This hole is covered with dirt and sometimes a special stone is placed on top of it to mark where the person is buried.

People can visit the grave to remember their loved one and leave flowers or special items to show that they still care even though the person has passed away.

By putting the person who died in a special place, like a cemetery, it helps people remember and honor them. Burial is an important part of many cultures and religions and helps us say goodbye to loved ones who have passed away.
