Bus trap

Okay kiddo, have you ever been on a bus before? Imagine that a bus trap is kind of like a special road that only buses can go on, kind of like a secret shortcut for them.

So, sometimes cities build special lanes just for buses so that they can get around faster and not get stuck in traffic with all the cars. These lanes are called bus lanes.

A bus trap is a special type of bus lane where the road has a little gate that only lets buses through. The gate is usually controlled by a traffic light so that it opens for the bus but stays closed for any other cars that try to go on it.

This helps the buses go faster because they don't have to wait in traffic behind other cars. Plus, it helps make sure that the bus lane doesn't get crowded with cars that aren't supposed to be there.

So, next time you're on a bus and you see a gate that opens just for the bus, you'll know that you just went through a bus trap!
