Okay kiddo, so you know how we live in a city with tall buildings and lots of people around? Well, there are other places on Earth where there aren't as many buildings and people, and instead there are a lot of trees and plants that grow in the wild. We call that kind of place bushland!
Bushland is made up of lots of different kinds of plants and animals that live together in an ecosystem. That means they all depend on each other to survive, kind of like how we depend on our family and friends. The plants in bushland help provide food and shelter for animals like birds, insects, and even some bigger animals like kangaroos!
It's really important to protect bushland because it's home to so many living things, and also because it helps keep our air clean by producing oxygen. But sometimes people want to build things or cut down trees in bushland, which can be harmful to the plants and animals that live there. So it's very important to be careful and respectful when we visit bushland, and to help take care of it so that it's still around for many years to come!
