Cabbage soup

Cabbage soup is a yummy soup made from cabbage (a green leafy vegetable), carrots (a root vegetable that is usually orange), onions (a round vegetable that is usually white or purple), and other vegetables like celery (a long, thin vegetable with stringy parts), potatoes (a starchy vegetable that grows underground), and tomatoes (a round, red vegetable).

First, you cut up the vegetables into small pieces and put them all in a big pot with some water or broth (a special kind of liquid that makes the soup more tasty). Then, you heat up the pot on the stove and let the soup simmer (cook slowly and gently) for a while until the vegetables are nice and tender (soft).

Cabbage soup is really healthy for you because it has lots of vitamins and nutrients that your body needs to grow strong and stay healthy. Plus, it tastes really great too! Some people even use cabbage soup as a way to lose weight because it is low in calories and filling, which means it makes you feel full so you don't need to eat as much other food.

So, in summary, cabbage soup is a tasty and healthy soup made from cabbage, carrots, onions, and other vegetables that you cook in a pot of water or broth. It is good for you and can help you feel full and satisfied without eating too much.
