Calan Gaeaf

Calan Gaeaf is a Welsh holiday that happens at the end of October or beginning of November. Just like Halloween, people dress up in spooky costumes and play fun games. But Calan Gaeaf is also about remembering those who have passed away.

It's like a special day when everyone gets together to think about their loved ones who are no longer with them. People often make special foods like cakes and breads with raisins to remember the souls of their departed loved ones. They might also light candles or leave flowers at their grave sites.

There are a lot of stories and legends associated with Calan Gaeaf too, which adds to the Halloween-like excitement. People tell tales of ghosts, witches, and other spooky creatures. But even though there are scary stories, it's really just a day to come together and think about the people we've loved and lost.
