Calculus of negligence

Calculus of negligence is a way of figuring out if someone should be responsible for something bad that happened. It's used in court cases when someone has been hurt or their property has been damaged. To figure out if someone should be responsible, the court will look at how careless the person was with what they were doing. If the person was really careless, then that person could be responsible for the bad thing that happened.
