Cambridge Analytica

So Cambridge Analytica is a company that used to work with people who wanted to get elected as important leaders in countries.

They did this by collecting information about lots of people, like what they liked and didn't like, and what they did on the internet. They would use this information to make really good ads that would make people want to vote for the person they were working for.

But some people got mad because they thought Cambridge Analytica didn't get the information the right way. It turns out they got it from a website called Facebook, and they didn't ask people if they could have their information.

Facebook got in trouble too, and lots of people were worried about their information being taken without their permission.

So, in short, Cambridge Analytica is a company that tried to help people get elected by using information they took without asking from Facebook. This made a lot of people upset and worried about their privacy.
