Cape Verde hurricane

Okay, so you know how sometimes there are really big storms that make the wind blow really hard and it rains a lot? That's called a hurricane.

Now, Cape Verde is a group of islands in the middle of the ocean. Sometimes, when the weather is just right, a hurricane can start forming near Cape Verde.

This happens because warm water and moist air come together in just the right way to create a big swirling storm. And because Cape Verde is in the middle of the ocean, there's nothing in the way to stop the hurricane from getting bigger and stronger.

When this happens, people who live on other islands or even on the coast of other countries need to be careful and listen to the news to know what to do to stay safe. It's always important to pay attention to weather warnings and take the advice of experts to stay away from danger.
