Capitalism is an economic system where businesses and individual owners use their money to buy things, like land, factories, and tools, to make more money. The people who own this capital, or money, are called capitalists. Marxists believe that capitalism is unfair because it leads to more money for the capitalists and less money for workers. They argue that this inequality keeps workers in poor conditions and prevents them from having enough money to buy things they need. Marxists argue that workers should own the capital they use to make money and have power over the decisions made at their workplaces.
