The Catholic Church is a big group of people who follow the same religion. A religion is a set of beliefs about God or a set of rules about how to live. Catholic people believe that Jesus was God's son who was sent to earth to take away the sins of people who believe in Him. They also believe that there is a single God who created everything, and that God is made up of three people: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit. They also believe that the Pope is the leader of the Catholic Church and that the Catholic Church is guided by God. The Catholic Church has lots of different ways to celebrate their faith, like going to Mass, praying the Rosary, and celebrating special holidays like Christmas and Easter.
