Catullus

Okay, so Catullus was a man who lived a really long time ago in ancient Rome. He was a poet, meaning he wrote a lot of words in a really pretty way to tell stories or talk about things he thought were important.

Some of the things Catullus wrote about were love and friendship, but he also talked about politics and other serious stuff. He was really good at using words to make people feel things or think about things in new ways.

Today, lots of people still read Catullus' poems because they are really beautiful and show what life was like a long time ago in Rome. Plus, some of his poetry is really funny, and who doesn't love a good laugh?
