Censorship in Venezuela

Censorship is when someone, usually the government, tries to control what people can say or read or watch. In Venezuela, the government has been censoring the newspapers, TV channels, and websites that are critical of the government. This means that if someone says something bad about the government or the president, they might get in trouble. People who work for the government TV channels or newspapers have to be careful about what they say or they might be fired. This is not good because people should be able to speak their minds and share their opinions. It is important to have a free press and the right to freedom of speech.
