Ceramic engineering

Ceramic engineering is a type of engineering that uses materials made out of tiny pieces of clay called "ceramics". Ceramics are special because they are strong and able to withstand high temperatures. Ceramic engineers create and design objects and products that use these special materials. They design things like kitchen sink basins, tiles, medical implants, and heat shields for spaceships! Ceramic engineering is exciting because it allows us to make things that are light, strong and can stand up to heat and cold.
