Ceremonial deism

Ceremonial deism is when religious words and symbols are used by a government to represent a country. It usually happens when a country has a special day or event to celebrate something important. Some examples of ceremonial deism would be when the President of the United States says "God bless the USA" at the end of speeches, or when they use religious symbols like the shape of a cross on their money.
