ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Cgroups

Cgroups (short for Control Groups) is a way of allotting certain tasks to a group or groups of computers or other online devices. It's like giving each group its own mini-computer or group of computers to work on a project. Cgroups let you set limits to how much work the group can get done and how much memory and computing power each group is allowed to use. It also lets you assign tasks to groups that can be tracked and monitored. This makes it easier to oversee the progress and performance of the systems that are working together.
