Chemical sterilization

So imagine you have some toys that you want to give to someone else to play with. But you don't want any germs or bugs to go with the toys that might make the other person sick.

Chemical sterilization is like cleaning the toys very very very well with special stuff that kills any germs or bugs that might be hiding on them. This makes the toys safe to give to the other person to play with without any worries about them getting sick.

It's kind of like how when we wash our hands with soap and water to get rid of germs, chemical sterilization is like washing the toys with special chemicals to make them extra clean and germ-free.
