Chinese classic texts

Hey kiddo, do you know what texts are? They are like books, but sometimes they are very old and special. Chinese classic texts are books that were written a very long time ago in China, by wise people who wanted to teach others important things.

One of these special books is called "The Analects" by Confucius, who was a wise teacher who lived a long, long time ago. In this book, he teaches people how to live and behave properly, like being kind, respectful, and honest. It's like a guidebook on how to be a good person.

Another book is called "Tao Te Ching" by Lao Tzu. In this book, he talks about the Tao, which means the way, path or principle. It's like a guide on how to live in harmony with nature and how to be content and happy inside.

There are many other classic texts, each with its own lesson and story to teach us. These books are important because they have been around for so long and have taught people how to be kind, respectful, and happy for thousands of years!
