Achiral life is life that is the same if you flip it upside down. If you look it at it from the front, the back looks the same. Chiral life is life that is not the same when you look at it from the front and the back. It's like looking at your hands – even though both look like the same hand, one is a mirror image of the other. Chiral life means that it looks different from different perspectives, like your hands.
