ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Christian views on contraception

Well, kiddo, Christians follow a very old book called the Bible, and sometimes they have different opinions on what it says about using something called "contraception." Contraception is a way to prevent pregnancy, like using a condom, birth control pill, or other methods.

Some Christians believe that using contraception is okay, as long as it is used for responsible family planning and not just to avoid having kids altogether. They think that it is important to have control over your own body and make choices that are best for your family and relationships.

However, other Christians believe that using contraception is not in line with what the Bible teaches about sex and family. They think that sex should only be between a married man and woman and that using contraception goes against God's plan for creating children.

So, while some Christians support the use of contraception, others believe it is not a good thing to do. It's important to remember that everyone has different beliefs and opinions, and it's okay to have a different view from others.
