Christmas gift-bringer

Every year during Christmas time, there is a special person called the "Christmas gift-bringer" who comes to deliver presents to children all over the world. This person goes by different names in different countries, such as Santa Claus, Father Christmas, or Saint Nicholas.

This gift-bringer is usually a jolly, old man with a white beard and a red suit, who travels around on a magical sleigh pulled by flying reindeer. He goes from house to house, sneaking into homes through chimneys (or sometimes using a magic key) to leave presents under the Christmas tree or in stockings hung by the fireplace.

Children write letters to the gift-bringer, asking for what they want for Christmas and promising to be good all year long. They leave cookies and milk out for him as a thank you for the gifts.

The gift-bringer is said to live in the North Pole, where he has an army of little helpers called elves who make toys for all the children. He spends all year getting ready for Christmas and delivering presents to children, making sure everyone has a happy holiday season.
