Cipher

A cipher is like a secret code. It is a way of changing a message so that only people with a special key can understand it. With a cipher, a letter in a message can be changed to another letter, or a number, or a symbol. For example, 'A' could be changed to '#' or '3'. Whoever knows the key can decode the message and read the original message.
