Clairaut's relation

Clairaut's relation is a mathematical equation about how changes in two things, like temperature and pressure, are related. It's named after Alexis Clairaut, a mathematician who proposed the equation in 1737. The equation says that when something changes by a certain amount (like pressure increasing by a certain amount), the other thing changes by an equal amount (like temperature also increasing by the same amount).
