Clericalism

Clericalism is the belief that people who work in churches (clerics), like priests, bishops, and deacons, should have more power and authority than other people. This can be seen in some churches where the priest has the final say in everything and makes all the decisions, without listening to anyone else's opinion. It also means that some people will be treated differently depending on their religious beliefs, so someone who isn't a member of the church might not have the same rights or respect as someone who is. Clericalism is a problem because it means that one person or group of people has too much power and control, and it can prevent other opinions from being heard or important decisions from being made.
