Theocracy

Theocracy is a type of government in which a religion has power over a country. This means that a group of people who are believed to be holy or wise, or a religious leader, makes the laws and decides what everyone in the country should do. Everyone in the country is expected to obey those laws and follow what the holy or wise people say.
