ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Climate Rush

Ok kiddo, so do you know what the weather is like outside? Sometimes it's sunny, sometimes it's rainy, sometimes it's really cold, and sometimes it's really hot, right? Well, the climate is like the weather, but it's about the long-term patterns of weather in a certain area.

Now, some people are worried about the climate getting really messed up because of things humans are doing, like burning fossil fuels (like coal, oil, and gas) and cutting down forests. This can cause something called global warming, which means the Earth is getting hotter overall.

Climate rush is when people get together to protest and raise awareness about the damaging things humans are doing to the environment. They want to encourage everyone to take action to reduce their carbon footprint (which means how much carbon emissions are produced by things we do, like driving cars and using electricity).

These people believe that we need to act fast to protect the climate and make the world a better place for future generations. They might organize marches, rallies, or other events to get people to pay attention to this important issue.
