Climate change controversy

Climate change controversy is a disagreement about whether the climate is getting warmer or not, and if so, what is causing it. Some people think that the Earth is getting warmer because humans are releasing too much carbon (like from burning fuel in cars and factories) into the atmosphere. This is known as the 'greenhouse effect' and causes more heat to stay in the atmosphere, making temperatures rise. But other people think this isn't the cause of climate change - it could be natural factors like cycles in the sun's activity. There is still a lot of research to be done in order to understand what is causing climate change and how we can stop it.
