ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Cloud communications

Okay, imagine you have a toy telephone that you can use to talk to your friends who live far away. But sometimes the toy telephone doesn't work very well, and you can't hear your friends very clearly.

Now imagine that instead of using the toy telephone, you have a special phone that's connected to a better, bigger phone network. This big network is called the cloud. This phone lets you talk to your friends in really clear sound, because the cloud network is so powerful and smart.

Cloud communications works the same way, but instead of using a toy telephone or a regular phone, people use computers and the internet to talk to each other. When you use cloud communications, your computer or phone is connected to the cloud network, which makes it really easy for you to talk to your friends or coworkers, no matter where they are.

This big cloud network is made up of lots of computers and servers that are located all around the world. When you want to talk to someone on the other side of the planet, the cloud helps you do it really quickly and easily. You can use the cloud to make video calls, send messages, and share files with anyone you want, even if they're really far away.

So in short, cloud communications is a really cool way to talk to people from far away, using computers and the internet, all thanks to the power of the cloud network.
