ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Co-processing

Co-processing is when two things work together to get something done. Think of it like when you and your friend work together to clean up a mess. You might pick up the toys and your friend might sweep the floor. Together, you are able to clean the room much faster than if you did it all by yourself.

In the world of computers, co-processing happens when two different types of chips work together to do something faster and more efficiently. One chip might be really good at doing math calculations, while the other chip might be really good at managing information. When they work together, they can process information much faster than if one chip tried to do it all by itself.

Co-processing is used in lots of different things, like video game consoles, smartphones, and even self-driving cars. It helps them do their jobs better and faster while using less energy. So, just like working together with a friend to clean up a mess, co-processing helps computers work together to get things done!
