Coda Automotive

Coda Automotive was a company that made cars that run on electricity, which means they needed to be plugged in to charge the battery instead of getting gas from a gas station.
They made a car called the Coda Sedan that could drive around 100 miles on a single charge of its battery. This car was designed to be affordable and was sold for about $35,000.
However, even though the car had some good features, Coda Automotive had some problems with selling enough cars and had to file for bankruptcy in 2013.
