Code for America

Code for America is a group of people who volunteer their time to help improve cities and towns. They use technology, like computer code, to help make life better in those places. For example, they might use code to help create apps or websites that make it easier for people to find jobs, get access to health care, pay their bills, or find out what's happening in their community. They also use code to help city governments be more efficient, like taking less time to process paperwork or providing better services to people. Basically, Code for America helps make our cities smarter, safer and better places to live.
