Code for Sustainable Homes

Code for Sustainable Homes is a way to make sure that the houses we build today, and in the future, are as sustainable as possible. They have a score which goes up to 6, based on how energy efficient and eco-friendly a house is. Each house must meet certain standards including things like good insulation, energy-efficient lighting, and water-saving taps. A higher score on the Code for Sustainable Homes means the house is even more energy-efficient, and could save you money on your bills. It also helps protect the environment over the long-term by reducing the amount of water and energy we use.
