The Cold Big Bang is a theory about how the Universe began. It suggests that at one point, all the matter and energy in the Universe was contained in a really, really small space. Then, suddenly and for no reason, this tiny space exploded outward in all directions - like a balloon popping - and started expanding. This explosion was called "The Big Bang". As it spread out, the material got colder and colder, until it eventually became the stars, planets and galaxies that we can see in the night sky today.
