Cold Lake oil sands
Oil is a very important resource that we use to make things like gasoline for cars and plastics for toys. But sometimes, we can't just dig the oil out of the ground easily. This is where oil sands come in. Imagine you have a big box of sand, but instead of just being regular sand, it's filled with tiny bits of oil. We call this oil sand.
