Collision avoidance in transportation

When you're playing with your toy cars, you know you have to be careful not to crash them into each other. This is the same idea behind collision avoidance in transportation!

Big trucks, cars, and buses need to avoid crashing into each other on the roads. To help them do this, they have special sensors and cameras that help the driver see what's around them. Just like you might look both ways before crossing the street, these sensors help the driver know if there are any other vehicles or objects around them.

If the sensors detect something that could cause an accident, they send a message to the driver, telling them to slow down or stop. The driver can also get a warning if they are getting too close to another car or object.

It's like having a robot helper in the car with you, reminding you to be careful and helping you make good decisions so that you don't cause an accident.

So, collision avoidance is all about making sure that the driver can see what's around them and get help to avoid any potential crashes. This keeps everyone safe on the roads!
