Color photography is when you take a picture using a camera that captures not only black and white but also different colors like red, green, and blue.
You know how there are lots of colors in everything around you, like a green tree or a red apple? Well, color photography lets us take pictures of those colors so we can look at them later and remember how things really looked.
But how does a camera capture colors? Think about a rainbow, which is made up of different colors. Each color has a different wavelength, or size, of light. A camera has a special part called a sensor that detects different wavelengths of light and turns them into electronic signals. These signals are then processed by the camera's computer to create a color image.
So the next time you see a colorful scene, take a picture with your phone or camera and remember how it looked!
