Commercial aviation is when people pay money to fly on an airplane from one place to another. It's like going on a big adventure! Think of it like a big metal bird that can take you to different parts of the world really quickly.
The people who work on the airplane are called the crew. Before you get on the plane, you have to buy a ticket. The ticket is like a special piece of paper that says you're allowed to be on the plane. When you get to the airport, you have to check in and give the people at the airport your ticket. They will give you a special piece of paper called a boarding pass which tells you which gate you need to go to get on the airplane.
Once you're on the plane, you have to buckle your seatbelt and listen to the instructions from the crew. They will tell you what to do if there's an emergency, like if there's a problem with the plane or if the weather gets bad.
