Commercial real estate

Commercial real estate is where adults go to work and make money by renting spaces for their businesses. Think about your favorite store or restaurant - they all have to pay for the space they use in a building.

Commercial real estate buildings can come in all shapes and sizes, from small stores in strip malls to big skyscrapers with lots of offices inside. And just like how you might save up your allowance to buy something you want, people who own commercial real estate use their money to buy buildings or land and then rent out the different spaces to other adults who need them.

Sometimes, people who own commercial real estate make changes to the buildings to make them better or more useful for the people who rent the spaces. This can include things like adding new rooms, making the outside look nicer, or even creating a new parking lot.

Overall, commercial real estate is important because it helps businesses have a place to work and make money, and it helps people who own the buildings to make money too.
