Commonwealth realm

A Commonwealth Realm is a type of country that has a special connection with the United Kingdom. These countries are linked to the UK in different ways, but all of them recognize the same person - Queen Elizabeth II - as their head of state. This means that Queen Elizabeth is the same Queen in all of the Commonwealth Realms. Each Commonwealth Realm is also connected to the UK in other ways, like sharing some laws and having similar governments.
