Communion (Christian)

Communion is a special thing that happens during church services for Christians. It's like having a special snack and remembering something important.

During church, people come up to the front or are given a plate and cup that have little pieces of bread and a little cup of juice or wine. They eat the bread and drink the juice or wine while thinking about the last supper Jesus had with his friends before he died.

Christians believe that when they eat the bread and drink the juice or wine, they are remembering Jesus and what he did for them by dying on the cross. They also believe that it helps them feel closer to God and remember that they are all part of one big family.

It's a special time for Christians to remember how important Jesus is in their lives and how much he loves them.
