Competition regulator

A competition regulator is someone who makes sure that companies and businesses don't take advantage of people by charging too much for their products or services. Competition regulators make sure that companies compete fairly and that they don't do things like offering lower prices only to people in certain areas. They also make sure that companies don't show favoritism to certain customers or business partners. Regulation lets people know that they will be able to find the best deal, no matter where they live or who they buy from.
