Compulsive hoarding is a type of disorder where people can't control their urge to collect and keep things, even when they don't need them or have no use for them. People with compulsive hoarding often have homes filled with piles of junk and random items, often to the point where they can't even move around the house or do things like cooking or cleaning. The items can range from clothes, magazines or newspapers, to old toys, broken electronics and trash. People with this disorder often find it hard to get rid of stuff, even if it's of no use to them.
