Compulsory sterilization

Compulsory sterilization is when someone is forced to have an operation to make them unable to have a baby in the future. It's like they can't get pregnant or make someone else pregnant anymore. This is mostly done to people who have certain diseases or disabilities, because it's believed that people with these illnesses or disabilities might have children who have the same problems.
