Computational science

Computational science is a way of using computers to solve scientific problems. It works like this: scientists come up with a problem they need solved and then they use computers to do many small calculations that help them figure out the answer. Computers are good at doing lots of calculations quickly, so this helps make it easier for scientists to solve problems that would be too difficult to do by hand.
