ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Computer architecture

Computer architecture is like a puzzle. It's made up of different pieces or parts that together make a complete computer. Think of it like a jigsaw puzzle – each piece has a specific size, shape, and color, and when all the pieces are put together, the puzzle is completed. The same is true for computer architecture. It takes a group of parts, such as the processor (the brain of the computer), the memory (which stores data), the mainboard (which holds the processor and memory), and other components, to make a complete computer. Computer architecture is all about understanding how these parts fit and work together.
