Concentrating solar power

Concentrating solar power is a way to use the sun’s energy to make electricity. It works by using mirrors or lenses to concentrate, or focus, the sun’s light into one spot. That spot can be used to heat up a liquid to a very hot temperature. That hot liquid is then used to turn a turbine and make electricity. So, essentially, concentrating solar power helps us take the energy of the sun and turn it into electricity we can use to power our homes and businesses.
