Cone beam computed tomography

Cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) is an imaging technique that uses X-rays (a special kind of light) to create pictures of the inside of your body. It's like an X-ray, but instead of just one picture, CBCT takes lots of pictures from different angles. The machine moves around and takes lots of pictures like a movie camera so your doctor can see them all together. The machine then combines all of the pictures into one 3-D image that the doctor can look at, like a map of the inside of your body. This helps doctors diagnose and treat medical problems, like broken bones or cancer.
