Conformal bootstrap

Conformal bootstrap is a way of doing math calculations to figure out the answers to very complicated questions that have to do with many particles moving around. The way it works is that you start by making assumptions about how the particles will move. Then you draw out a picture that shows what you think the particles will do. Finally, you use special math formulas to calculate the answer. These special formulas are called “bootstrap equations”. So when you do a conformal bootstrap calculation, you are using these equations and the picture you drew to make sure your answer makes sense.
